Mission
GYOPO is a collective of diasporic Korean cultural producers and arts professionals generating and sharing progressive, critical, intersectional and intergenerational discourses, community alliances, and free educational programs in Los Angeles and beyond.

BELONGING
We recognize each other across our many differences. By creating a space of belonging, we grow power in our community. We are the relations we seek, the audience we always wanted.
CARE
Thoughtful attention to and support of one another, artists, and other community members is central to transforming cultures of competition, individualism, and hierarchy. We understand care as a horizon, recognizing responsiveness is a process that looks and feels different for everyone.
LEARNING
We embrace learning together, mentoring, and exchange. Our trust in one another supports critical thinking and through that criticality, the development of new ideas, processes, and relationships.
BEING IN SERVICE
Working collectively makes ambitious projects possible. As co-creators, we share responsibilities, labor, and ownership of our projects and programs.
