Co-curator of (Be)Longing: Asian Diasporic Crossings Anahid Oshagan, along with participating artists Jennifer Cheh, Annette Miae Kim, and Kyong Boon Oh, led an intimate walkthrough of the exhibition, which delves into the multi-generational afterlives of war and East–West Asian diasporic placemaking through maps, sculptures, photography, archives, video, and layered materiality. Conversation looked at how diasporic histories and spaces are created and narrated, in works such as Cheh’s ceramics, Kim’s abstract scroll maps, and Oh’s sculptural installations.
