Co-curator of UNBOXING PROJECT 3.2: MAQUETTE Minjin Chae spoke about how she, along with co-curator Hyunjoo Byeon, came to assemble this grouping of 28 artists as representatives of the Korean contemporary art scene and how they approached how to define who a “Korean artist” is. The exhibition featured sculptural works by Sla Cha, Jaiyoung Cho, Goen Choi, Haneyl Choi, Soyoung Chung, Sunpil Don, Gimhongsok, Gwon Osang, Kyungwoo Han, Sang A Han, Jungyoon Hyen, Jiieh G Hur, Byoungho Kim, Hansaem Kim, Inbai Kim, Kim Yun Shin, Ahnnlee Lee, Hyunsoo Lee, Eunu Lee, Eun Yeoung Lee, Wonwoo Lee, Choong Sup Lim, Isaac Moon, Jong Oh, Donghoon Rhee, Meekyoung Shin, Jung Uk Yang, and Yeesookyung.
